Sciamachy

I called my project Sciamachy: “(n.) a battle against imaginary enemies; fighting your own shadow.” A shadow of a tree on a bricked wall, the shadow was casting on the wall and the ground. It made this amazing pattern that intrigued me. Gradually when I started researching and looking for more photos on shadows, I found some amusing artwork by different photographers and artists. Random objects reveal unexpected shadows that are quite striking in the level of their detail. The process of transformation, from discarded waste, scrap metal or even holes to a recognizable image is insane.
